Why am I not getting a video signal?

    Chasing gremlins here....

I am not getting a video signal at all.

System is a RMRC 12v 480 camera running through a Skylark OSD to a Lawmate 500mw Vtx.

    Here are some interesting facts...

I am recieving video - but only of the OSD screen. That tells me a couple of things - its not the osd and its not the vtx - right?

The OSD even says - no video signal detected.

I am getting 12v to the camera - I verified it. There are no breaks in the wire, etc. When I change cameras to another 480 that I have - same result. When I changed the OSD out to another one - same result.

What the hell am I missing?

How do you have the "video in" connected to the OSD from the camera? Just video feed, or video feed and a negative? Can you give a picture or drawing on how it is connected?

I don't think this has anything to do with Skylark - I have another one and I know how to hook them up. The intersting thing is that the tx is transmitting and that I am getting 12v at the camera - which I am supposed to. I may try to jump the camera directly to the vtx and see what's happening.

As we discussed - ground the cam to the OSD (splice the current ground to the vTx). Tadaaaa - you'll have video.

Nope. I had it right all along. Was the camera itself - not sure exactly what happened - but when I changed it out I get all systems go.

Now I need to sort out the tracker and we're off to the races.
