Seriously what the eff...
I sent this:
Hi,
My
30-Amp Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless Esc is having problems.
I had bought it last week. I had been running it on my flying wing, which uses a Park 480 1020kv motor on an APC 10x7E prop, a 2200mah 25c 3S battery pack, 2 hs-55 servos with extended wires (about 30inches) and an 8ch supreme receiver.
Everything was working fine, then I started having problems.
My esc will arm and run a motor fine, from lowest throttle to full throttle the motor runs and is consistent
However no power is delivered to the servos, in fact I get a "pulsing" sound from my servos from every channel.
I am able to rotate them with my hand (no the servos are not stripped, they are low torque) while plugged into the powered receiver.
This to me sounds like a toasted BEC, as I have tested a different esc and my receiver / servos function properly.
What can you guys suggest? I have looked at the manual, and don't see anything that would fix the BEC problem... does it sound like a temporarily problem or is this permanent?
My esc has a deans plug soldered onto it, and a rip on the plastic covering (I glue my esc to my airplanes) what are the chances of warranty?
Or is there a solution to my problem?
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Jacob Cunningham
