If you are having problems with wifi dropping out when the microwave is on, lower the frame size on your router so that the frames are small enough to be broadcast between the microwave "bursts". (Some routers have this as a dedicated option, usually marked "Use Interference Robustness")

Twisted it, folded it in half, and then folded it in half again

To make it a 1/4 length

Then twisted it all together and put a piece if thin plastic tube over it

Get no problem 5 km away with out fail safe

Ground tests show me about 3/4 reduction in range, but 3/4 reduction in drag from reduced rx antenna wire

Works really well for "normal range" "
