Probably caused by incompetance but anyway.
I had a 700 mW 2.4 GHz VTx mounted on the far left side of the middel wing section. Omni antenna (standard one comming with the VTx from ElectronicaRC).
(Measuring the VTx in a SWR meter with an homebuilt clover I could see that the VTx only gave around 550 mW thou)
Twisted cables in to the middle section and then the EzOSD mounted in the wing with the current sensor in the fuselage. LOD vario mounted in the wing also besides the flap servo.
A lot of wires going here and there (could be part of the problem).
VRx on the ground with omni antenna and Fatshark goggels.
Scherrer LRS system for the RC link.
On 2.4 I get around the range that you can see in the video before enough interferance to crap my pants of nervousity.
One don´t want to loose a plane like this. And if it goes down I could pobably fit the 3.6 meter span plane in a shopping bag.
I must have been doing something wrong when it comes to the video link (at least in the beginning when I flew the eAVA) cause I have had a lot of problems with the 2.4 GHz link. Have been thinking if it could be interferance from Wifi routers or similar beacouse flying on some places have resulted in no interferance at all with long range and next day flying on another place a lot of interferance and statics.
Any ideas/tips from the wizard?
Thanks in advance / Kajaken

what video system do you use? how much range do you need?
