The problem with Vegas is that there are several more settings to get right, which I usually get wrong. Maybe Vegas is a bit overkill for what I'm doing.
Do you ever feel that Videopad is lacking features for your use of editing FPV videos, or does it do everything you need?

So far it does everything I need. I need to work on the speed up/slow down method but for the $39 or $69 I paid for the "Pro" edition (2 sound track capability) it works awesome.

    And they cost too much.

Years ago I bought a cool piece of audio editing software called Cool Edit 2000 and within 2 weeks of buying this program Adobe bought them out and emailed me that my license was null and void but for $800 I could buy THEIR version of it.

So I steer away from Adobe products.
You are in IT security and you use Internet Explorer?

    Not by choice, NMCI....

I use IE9 and Firefox at home, all 3 major browsers have the same issues - problem is Google and Firefox take a LOT longer to patch, MS is actually patching faster than any of their competition...ask me how I know LOL - I had to do a report on average report-patch time and Apple/Google/Firefox AT THE TIME were taking near 6 months where M$ was taking about 2 weeks to 30 days..

I downloaded Videopad and did a quick edit. Very easy to use and the rendered video came out great! It seems to have enough features for my use.
Why would I pay for the software if the free version does all the basics? What do I get with the Pro version? The free version does seem to have two sound tracks, or did you mean two video tracks?

I don't believe it will insert the extra audio tracks on the free- please prove me wrong! I was not sure and did not mind spending the money after seeing how easy it was to use

Wait on bu ying it if you do though!??
I might be getting a larger discount, they are featuring my video on their blog this month...

I can see two audio tracks, and just included audio clips into both.
Do you get two video tracks in the Pro version? I only see one in the Free version.

Yes but can you compile the video with two audio tracks? or one additional?

I just tested it again, and yes it works. I deleted the clip's own audio, then added two audio clips, rendered, and they're both playing in the rendered video.

Thanks, I really like this editor. Straight forward, simple, and free (as far as I could figure out).

Scott, can you share your settings for the Deshaker plugin in Videopad?
