How hot is too hot, ImmersionRC 2.4Ghz 100mW VTx

Hi Sander, or anyone else who knows

My questions is how hot should the VTx get.

I'm trying to get all of my electronics set up to go into a new plane but keep having to turn everything off after a couple of mins due to how hot the vtx gets.

I realise its likely to do this as its getting no airflow on the bench, but even so this looks too hot.

The heat seems to be highest at the chip I'm pointing at and the readout say 98°c
The Vtx is brand new and being powered by a 2s

How normal is this, I guess I'm kinda worried as I'm imagining a scenario where I down my plane a 5 or 10 min walk away. I wouldn't be able to get there fast enough to turn off battery and there would also be little airflow.

Any advice?

Bought as a long range, thought it was 100mW
