    Hey all,

I fly my Skysurfer with 1280 600mw, Rmrc 1.3Lpf and self made clover on Tx.
    Skylark tiny osd
    Ezuhf Lite with turnstile
All on single battery with filter

Diversity on ground with SPW and Crosshair in a backpack.

Quite regularly out to 5-7km on my journeys...been over 10ks No probs.
Have mictronics Rssi and it works perfectly, I feel the radio will outperform video easily even with lite Rx.
My advice is spread your gear out and lose any spaghetti wiring :-)

    Chris.

    @Chris

Really glad to hear that Chris cause I have about EXACTLY the same setup!

    Bixler,
    EzUHF lite with turndtile
    EzOSD
Lawmate 500Mw on cloverleaf with lowpass filter
    All on a single battery.

Ground I have Oracle diversity with a patch and skew!
    Still to be tested!

Can you show/tell the turnstile antenna positioning on the skysurfer? Seems big for a smaller foamie like that. I'm considering placing my turnstile on my skywalker.... that's why I ask.

Oh and as long as your Tx antenna matches the turnstile polarization, the LITE rx should actually give you more range than the diversity rx.

Why do you have LPF on your vtx? 433Mhz<1280Mhz

3rd harmonic of 1280 interfere with 433mhz from what I understand!

    Harmonics don't divide.

High pass filter on the Vtx will eliminate all fractional harmonics in the UHF range, not a low pass filter.
