    Immersion RC 5.8ghz FPV equipment...

I was bench testing my 5.8ghz FPV equipment today.
I'm getting little to no reception.
I need recomendations to correct reception problems.
    • ImersionRC 600mW Transmitter with a 500mah 3S lipo battery
    • ImmersionRC DUO5800v2 5.8GHz Diversity Receiver w/TrackerLink, Dual Output
    • Fatshark CCD Killer CMOS NTSC video camera
    • 5.8 GHz Bluebeam Whip Antenna Set (RHCP) and standard antennae
    • Haier 10" LCD monitor

Define 'little to no reception', as that usually indicates that the channel on the Vtx doesn't match the channel on the Vrx.

Are you able to post a video of what you are seeing? if not - please post a wiring diagram. You say that you have a BlueBeam antenna set - but you also put standard antenna. Which are you using?? What channels are you setting the gear too. Make sure they match. if you have a 5.8gHz router (dual band) for internet access at home turn it off.

I have an ImmersionRC DUO5800v2 5.8GHz Diversity Receiver w/TrackerLink, Dual Output
...you can use 2 different antennae. The receiver switches between them for best reception.

OK, I've tried switching to all channels.
I get some beeping from the receiver unit on channel 7, but still no video reception.
I'm charging all lipos to full charge, then I will retry.

Do I also change the channels on the ImmersionRC Duo5800v2?

Hey guys, here's my some photos of my set up.
I'm still getting some static with little to no reception with standard antennae.
Do I need to be farther away..outside maybe?
I need help getting this system working.
    I can't believe I spent $400 on a 5.8ghz FPV system that doesn't work.

Did you cycle through all channels on the Duo5800? If you plug in the Vtx does one channel appear as a black screen rather than noise?

hmm strange just to be save: you have an duo5800 and not an duo2400 there right?

Another problem could be your videocable from tv to the duo. Some chinese cables dont have video on yellow but on red or white ....

Did you already try another tv for viewing ? Did you check PAL/NTSC settings ?

I'm getting "no signal" on the monitor with the 5.8ghz system.
When I hook up my Lawmate 1.2ghz system, everything works great.
After hours of investigation, I've come to the conclusion that the Duo5800v2 is malfunctioning.
    I've RMA'd the ImmersionRC Duo5800v2.
Thanks to those who tried to help.
