I have been having issues with my video for a bit, but have simply pushed it off to multipathing and or location/noise.

Yesterday Chad and I flew at our spot where noise floor is less of an issue and normally have little to no problems with any channel from 1080-1280.

I cant show video clips of what is happening because the aiptek doesnt show it the same way I see it in the fatsharks. I will try to explain as best as I can.

When flying close in, my fatsharks get a blip that can only be explained like what multipathing looks like... a full screen loss to black, but during the transition, which happens in 1 second, you cant see the image shift up or down, left or right (no sync issue). It happenes so fast that you can fly through it without issues. but it happens often enough to really be a problem.

He is the catch..... Chad doesnt see it at all when he is looking through his fatsharks and his groundstation.

This would lead me to think its something with my groundstation.

The problem with that is, when looking at his plane fly through my groundstation, I dont get the same results/effects. His video comes in flawless, just like when I am flying and he is looking at my video.

So deductive troubleshooting has hit a wall.

1. My video doesnt work good when looking through my ground station.
2. My video works good when looking through chads ground station.
3. Chads video works good looking through either ground station.

The only thing at this point i can think of is proximity to my ground station for the Dragonlink. I tried standing as far as i could, the length of the fatshark video cable, but had no noticeable effect.

besides using a longer cable to distance myself from the ground station more, which i will test shortly, is there any other logical reason for these effects?
