Problem with Image, law mate vtx and vrx...

    Hello,
after a counsel into this forum, I bought a 2.4ghz Lawmate vtx (500mw) and his dedicated law mate vrx:

    http://www.dronesvision.com/lawmate-...v-transmitter/
    http://www.dronesvision.com/lawmate-...-cctv-cameras/

Now, I have powered the vtx with 2s lipo, so his built in cable voltage regulator will power the vtx at 5V (my voltmeter says 4,96Volts, so it's perfect!), and the vrx at 3s (12VDC), it work great!
The quality of video is good, but there is a problem: The image slide continuously to the left, and come back from the right, why this problem?
I tryed to test with a 8dbi patch antenna, the quality is ever good, but the image will ever slide to the left....

You need to post how you have this all setup - what components used - etc. Have you tried switching channels? Results?

Ok, I tried to switch channels, no changes...

    I have those components:

    IN AIR:

    Model: Combatwing XE2
RC receiver: Graupner SMC16 scan 35mhz (sintesyzed)
    Main battery: Lipo 3s 3100
    Motor: Axi 2208/12 brushless
    ESC: CC Phoenix 45
    Servos: 2x standard servo
VTx: Lawmate 2.4GHz 500mw, powered by main lipo battery, from balancer connector, with 2s voltage, built in voltage regulator into law mate cable will switch into 4,96V into vtx.
    Cam: Sony 520TVL, from Hobbyking:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...%5FPAL%5F.html
    IN GROUND:
    RC Transmitter Graupner MC-19 35Mhz
    Power: 3s Li-po 2100mah
VRx: Lawmate AV receiver 2.4GHz (powered direct from 3s lipo)
Display: Fatshark base edition v2 Goggles (powered from balancer lipo cable, with 2s)

I now at the moment it's chaotic, but it isn't only to test the system, a Zephyr is coming soon, and it will be my definitive fpv model...

Sounds like a line break error. I have found that lawmate can be sensitive to long A/V cables. How long are your cables from the camera to the VTX? How long are the cables from the goggles to the VRX?

Additionally you could have a floating ground depending on how it's all hooked up. Be sure everything has a common ground connection.

That's about all I can comment on with what I read. Can you post a video and a few detailed photos of your setup?

    -Alex
If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

Uhmmm... Maybe you have reason... The cable from rxv to goggles is 3mt (cable of fatshark), and from cam to vtx is around 40-50cm...
To adapt the pin from goggles to rxv I changed the male of rxv into female, and I haven't connected the ground, but just the signal, is possible that the problem is this?
Today I tried also to use lawmate vtx and a normal vrx ( rxv into this set: http://www.electronicarc.com/catalog...d7a0bddcf7f330 ) and it work great! Why that?
If i connect the ground of female pin (video channel) to the ground of rxv, that work at 12V, and the goggle ground is at 8,5V, can i do something dangerous?
I will do more photos of my setup...

    Thx for your help

    Photos...

    There are some photos...
    1 photo: All components,
2 photo: Cam in front, from there departed 3 cables, +, - and signal video, ground and power are direct to lipo 3s, signal go direct to lawmate vtx cable. VTx is powered by balancer pin, with 2s voltage.
    3 Photo: Detail cam power
    4 photo: detail vtx power
5 photo: Ground station, rxv lawmate powered direct by lipo 3s, cable from vtx to FS goggles needed to change the pin, because male.... Only the signal connected here, not the ground! From balancer pin start the cable to power the FS goggles, direct with 2s voltage!

At the moment i will use the other vrx, that work great! I think i must to connect the ground to have better results with lawmate rxv..

The problem is your RX A/V cables. They have too much loss or the video does not have a good solid ground. For some reason Lawmate is very sensitive to this.

    Hey alex,
I tried to connect the ground into all cables, but the result is the same, the image is good but consinuosly sliding to the left... Now, the remaining idea is that the cable are too long (3mt cable of the RCV922 Fatshark), but i can't do it more shortly, because if I do that i must to stay every time near the receiver... So now what can i try more?
