    1.2 1000 lawmate channel selection

I am completely confused! The reciever I think I understand if the switch under the corisponding number is in the down position that channel is active. I read somewhere that the 1000mw A/B slider should be in the B position. Please confirm. Now for the transmitter. I carefully tore back the foil tape and pried off the heat sink to make sure all switches where visible . There where three switches that could be on or off. They where all on. Can someone tell me how to select different channels? And do they not have to be the same as the reciever? I should point out that I live in Canada so have the luxury of multiple channels.

I dont know the 1.2 1W Lawmate VRX, but I know the lawmates.

I like how they describe it on this webshop:

"DIP switches in the up position are disabled, the selected channel switch must be down to be enabled, so if you want to use CH-8 1280 MHz.DIPS 1~7 must be UP (disabled) and the DIP 8 has to be DOWN."

    About the A-B switch:

"For TM-121800 1.2G 1W VTx, always slide the switch to position B
For TM-120500LM 1.2G 0.5W VTx, always set the switch to position A"

For the transmitter, you should get a little sticker with the dip switch positions, sutch like that: link (The sticker around the cable)

The black squares symbolize the dip switches. To check from witch side you should look, look at the little numbers or the letters N O N that u see on the sticker and compare them with the numbers/ letters N O N on the dipswitch socket. Then just set them as per chart.

Per example, if you look at the picture in the link above, the channel 3 would be:

    N O N
    - _ -
    1 2 3

In words: UP / DOWN / UP - If the letters are on the top when you look at it.

And dont be confused if there are 4 dip switches, but only 3 on the sticker. Thats normal. Just leave the 4th dip switch in the position it was when you received it.

And dont forget, the transmitter above isnt a 1.2 1W!!!! That was just to show you the dip switch chart.

So I m not sure if your VTX uses the same dipswitch positions (normally it should work and as far from my expirience it isnt possibel to broke something when switching during operation)

    Dip switch label

Any idea where I would get one? I'm very surprised it didn't come with one, with out it it's like trying to break code!

    Google! A matter of seconds!

Here is the product page of the LM 1.2GHZ 1W of Hobbywireless.com with the link to the label.
