Would you guys sell these sander style antennas you make? I really don't trust myself to make a functioning antenna.

Sassen,. What the hell is nyrod? a quick google search leaves me confused as there is nothing to buy that has the word "nyrod" in it..
I found this link http://shop.dubro.com/products/searc...&submit=Search
but I'm not even sure what I can and can't use, they don't mention the diameter of any of those tubes, would be cool to use the neon ones.
I ordered this.. the link in your guide is broken. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160623010616...84.m1497.l2649
I have some leftover 72mhz receiver antenna wire and ordered some extra just in case http://www.ebay.com/itm/180762199499...84.m1497.l2649
I saw someone complain about how in the hell they get the blob of solder inside the connector, do I have to go out and buy a soldering iron with a smaller tip too?
Guess I'm ****ing stupider than a blind monkey. I can't remember it's been over a year now, and I bought the more expensive nagoya,, diamond SRH 771 or something.. is that still the best antenna to use on the TX?

^^ would that work??? that's one thing that came up when searching nyrod..
Nevermind. I really have only one question anymore posting in Immersion RC forums..
Buy the dubro antenna tubes. They have about a 3mm OD. They work well with the RG58 right angle crimp connectors. I had to lightly rub the end down in sand paper to get a nice snug fit. After that a drop of CA + shrink wrap and you are sorted. They take all of about 5 minutes to build.
If your soldering iron has removable tips buy some extras and file/dremel your old one down into a fine point and re-tin it. Works a treat. I still use the fine point tip for everything.
As long as we are on this subject -
Trappy uses these style for his max range flights?
What about the cloverleaf style antenna are those UHF or 2.4ghz?
I can make these antenna - maybe I'll do up a batch of them while I'm waiting for equipment..
FYI When you solder these - flux in the tip, insert the solder, heat the side of the cup (iinside) - yes you need a smaller tip soldering iron - I forget the wattage.
I did a lot of soldering of antenna's and BNC connectors in the military.
The clover circularly polarized antennas are for your Vtx, 900-5.8ghz
How effective are they vs the dipole type antenna - and who has those?
