Hello everyone,
I looked around but could not find a clear answer to my question...
I have a GoPro with cables soldered to the +5V USB, GND and Video out on a connector out the back of the waterproof case.
My whole FPV system is on a single ground "spider" from my LC filter and my 3S LiPo supplies the VTx and the cheapo HKing OSD this way. My VTx is an ImmersionRC 5.8GHz but I can't use it's 5V output to charge my GoPro as it draws close to 900mA while filming and charging and the IRC VTx can't handle that.
If I don't connect the +5V of the GoPro and run it on it's internal batteries I get a good picture but my OSD is flickering a little bit... Do I need to add a 75ohm resistor on the video wire right as it exits the GoPro?
Now if I connect the +5V of the GoPro to a BEC that get's it's input voltage from my LC filter, just like the VTx and OSD then I get a slightly worse image and the OSD is flickering to the point of being a sideways blur...
Any help please?
Thanks!
