The new units are produced in China and I suspect it is now all aluminium to keep costs down. The reason they are now produced in China, is to keep up with demand, and to keep costs down so Sander can make something to feed his family and hobby.
The writing is now also printed on the aluminium case, instead of having the red sticker on. The reason for that, is to ensure everything is lined up properly which is not so easy with a sticker.
I have an all-aluminium unit, and I think it is still sexy and looks like a quality product. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Why would you need 2 ezUHF systems?

So far, I love that I can configure things with over USB. Like choosing the transmission frequency, having the ability to change the hi/low to a Tx switch. Configure which channel to output PPM sum and RSSI. While not completely necessary, it is a very nice to have that capability.

Number one on my list is the ability to upgrade FW on my own. I've also recently gotten an EzOSD so since I was toying around with the ImmersionRCTool I decided to update and configure that too. Great suite of tools and they really do make life a little easier.

I love how confident it makes one feel, to never recieve a bad packet, or have the rssi go over 70 flying within 3km. I can finally concentrate on my piloting, and not watching for glitches or failsafes. Thank you EZUHF!
Get me a Crocodile sandwich. And make it snappy.
