1.2 low-pass filter needed with 433?

Ive been using low pass filters on my lawmate 1.3 vtx's; I realize they are for reducing the harmonic on 2.4.

Since Im using a 433 DL, do I need the low pass on the 1.3 vtx?

I have issues using 1.3 vtx and the first gen Chainlink. There are a bunch of posts up on RCG with poor filtering on DL side. If it aint broken dont fix it. :P Also depends which freq the low pass filter works off of too.

You could use a band pass (70cm band) or high pass filter on your vtx, but by definition a low pass filter theoretically won't help since 433mhz<1280mhz.

Sorry your right, i get confused with low pass and high pass. I have a high pass filter on mine. Also there is a significant output loss using one, just so you dont forget.

I might as well just remove the low pass filters I have installed on all my rigs and get the 1dbi back at the vtx

Can any of you provide a link to a high pass filter?
