I don't know, I'm useless on this type of electronics and just copying everybody else LOL It is a small brown(ish) cube (defines my knowledge about this stuff, doesn't it? he he), as much as I know another type of capacitor, that my friend recommended to put on along with the main capacitor. Supposedly it helps a bit

should be a cap as well.

One should combine different capacity caps. In theory one cap should be fine and the ultimate cure, but in real-life, caps do have also resistance, or better ESR. google for it. So it pays off to combine, i.e. a low capacity cap and a high capacity cap for better filtering.

My TBS core pnp does great for 3cell, but on 4cell i DO get lines on full throttle climbs. not bad, but noticable. Id like to make one of these as well. Thanks!!

*edit* just bought a 470uf capacitor and pulled out a bag of ferrites. Time to whoop up one of my own!

Ill let you know how it goes.

    *edit again*
I made one! Looks nice, compact, and should be a breeze to put in. Ill put up a pic soon.

If using the CORE for Volt regulation for cam and Vtx, where should I put this guy? close to the camera? or close to the Vtx?
Im leaning towards the Cam but not 100%

Does the Core not filtering noises??? I don't have one, but always thought that it filters, so another filter wouldn't be needed here...

    Hei dust.
Try a simple 470uf capacitor at the core s output side fist. May already help.

Other than that, filter should be placed in direct proximity to cam and vtx. U d need 2 actually. But again, try a cap only.

I used to think so, untill i swiched out ESC's. once i put 20A's on inplace of 12A's i started getting lines on full throttle punches with 4 cell.

The little cube is a smd cap to filter out high end noise while the larger cap filters the slower noise

If you are working with ferrite rings, try wiring them in common mode by wrapping the positive and negative wires in opposite directions through the core, sort of like tying a shoe.
