    Yup. I'm currently using a Du-Bro 30" pushrod housing mounted with an RC10 antenna mount.

    I realize this is an older thread, but I want to add this link for others who may find it in their search for 72mHZ antenna information. Basically, anything other than a straight, full-length antenna will affect range. The base-loaded whips are similar to straw-coiled in actual performance. Real-world FPV multirotor experience with 72mHZ is all that really matters though - all you need is enough range for the way you fly.
