Ok, my build begins with the X468 Landing-Gear/Medium Camera-Mount and the Base-plate. There is going to be soft-rubber isolation-mounting of the base-plate to the landing-gear, I do this with Bungee Rubber, O-rings and wire ties.
All the video equipment (video battery, FPV camera, video-TX, etc.) will mount to this landing gear, keeping these loads under-slung and the CG on the center-line.

Homebrew, vibration-isolating mounts. These have proven very effective in isolating vibration from under-slung cameras. The entire undercarriage will be hung from these:

Cletus, what type of servo's are you using for the pan tilt? I'm looking for somewhat affordable yet light but strong servo's. (HXT900's...never again)

Actually, it's TILT / ROLL and I am using Hitec HS-56HB as per the X468 manufacturer recommendations.
Panning is done by Yawing the aircraft.
    Hope it works good

The motors and prop-adapters will be here tomorrow. I will be doing some testing of Static-thrust with one of these motors with APC 10x4.7, 11x4.7 and 12x3.8 propellers and plotting: Throttle position vs Thrust / RPM/ Current / Voltage

This should give me some empirical data as to what to expect in payload vs flight-performance.

Motors, mounts, prop-adapters, ESCs, bullet-connectors and silicone wire arrived today.
These Turnigy Motors and machined prop-adapters seem to be very good quality.
    Assembly has begun!

I'm very happy with the way this frame is turning out ....very rigid!
Now it's on to building the power-wiring harnesses.

Just some really soft rubber tubing (maybe like surgical tubing or bungee tubing) I found at the hardware store (1/8" Id 3/8" OD). I cut 1" pieces of the tubing and inserted the heads of 3mm x 16mm bolts into the ends with a drop of CA. then I pulled-up a couple small wire-ties on the tubing ends that overlap the bolt heads. Simple, cheap and works a peach!
Will show a detail photo of it when mounted.

UPDATE: Battery bank harness and Navigation LED Lights harnesses done! ......on to the ESC harness now.
