Thread: Component Repair Service!!!

  1. #321
This weekend I crashed my model and the Lawmate 1W 2.4GHz VTx was the victim.
It was ejected and had a minor bump in its chassis.
That bump ripped a small 5 leg component of to the side.
Has the legs were bent but seamed OK I opened it and re-soldered it.
I tested it and the static image disappeared and the image become gray, so I thought I just need to add the camera an all was fine.
Has I reassembled it I had the nice idea to use thermal paste between the metallic plate it has inside and the PCB to help dissipate head...
Well.. it does not work at all now.

Can anyone help me? what info is need to post?

Flying quadcopter with dji naza and new gps/compass. All the sudden the battery decided to go up in smoke. it slammed down gps prob first. Now GPS only find 5 sats so I took it apart and the gps ant has cracked in several places. tried soldering a bridge between cracks...Still won't lock on. My question is can this ant be replaced? Seems like it maybe epoxied on the board

I have a very nice charger

happens the dial ( the one on my car stereo too ) does not respond as expected... It fails sometimes and double steps at others...

In my car, I just cant turn the volume UP, I just have to keep rotating it VERY slowly so that it works...

The charger I can more or less do what I need.

Should be a common problem, and I wonder if there is a solution. ( replace debounce caps, replace dial...) IDK.

Hey Roberto, that is just a incremental rotary encoder wheel. It may just need a cleaning.

What would be the best way to fix a bad "N" fuse on a set of HeadPlay Goggles?
