The Headplays have the best image quality and resolution, by far... too bad it was not made for FPV...

My HPīs are mounted inside ski goggles. It was some work for me but...there is a readymade solution here: http://fpv-plastics.com/page3.html donīt even think about flying with the original ridiculous sun screen they come with... the black shirt over the head works but is a PITA and too hot for my weather.

This was my solution for the connector and a belt clip: ( Range Video was going to release something like this but IDK if itīs already available ).

ahhh, I also made the 2s lipo mod, works like a charm...

Hah, I like your liberator liberator there.

I prefer modified Myvu crystals but have not tried headplays, AIOs, trimersions, zeiss, or any other than fatshark. I have mine in ski goggles and can wear glasses under them if I shove my glasses past the foam and then put on the goggles. I normally wear contacts though.

Just a note on the goggles being close to your eyes thing... There are lenses in front of the LCDs that give you a "virtual" focal point meters away. Just because you can focus on an object a few inches away without glasses doesn't mean you can focus on the LCDs in the goggles.

OK... now I am confused. Per Keith: "Just a note on the goggles being close to your eyes thing... There are lenses in front of the LCDs that give you a "virtual" focal point meters away. Just because you can focus on an object a few inches away without glasses doesn't mean you can focus on the LCDs in the goggles"

I am EXTREMELY nearsighted. I take my glasses off, hold my cell phone horizontally in front of my nose about 2" off of my eyes, and watch movies that way. 3" out and it gets blurry, it needs to be closer to my eyes. Anyone have any opinions if goggles might work? No astigmatism, just 20/450 to 20/600 nearsighted.

Squishy- and further comments on the MyVu's? Which model did you get?

Crystal something, they work ok, I took them apart, which was a pain in the ass, then I put them into a set of goggles...I don't like it so much though, I think I like using a large LED TV better..I have both on a switch box to see which way I like it...

What goggles are good for people with glasses?

Anybody with glasses here? How do the various goggles work for you?

Marhar, do you want goggles that have adjustable diopter or that will fit over glasses? I use the visux Wrap 920 that I mounted in a pair of ski goggles that were meant for OTG. However, the 920's have adjustable diopter for each eye so I don'y have to wear glasses under the goggles. You could do a similar mount with other goggles even if they don't adjust.

Here is a link to what I did: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...&highlight=ski

Sorry for the RCG link. I do understand that it is not one of the favorite places around here.

Headplays in a ski mask work great. They're very clear and provide a large view. However, that so called liberator is a pain, even with the mods, its still something you have to carry on your or have close by. Nothing really beats the ease and portability of a pair of fatshark dominators.
