    Micro FPV lipo question, 9v?

I picked up this little 900mhz Cam/TX from a forum member for cheap cheap cheap:

It takes a 9v battery apparently and I would like to use a small lipo instead.

A fully charged 3s lipo is about 12.6 and a fully charges 2s is about 8.6 so what should I do to supplement a lipo for the 9v battery?
    FPV is not a crime!

It can probably run on less than 9v, I would test it down to 6v and see, then a 2s is fine. Otherwise a linear regulator like the 7809 will make a 3s into 9v.
