Your FPV plans for this weekend are ...

    I'll start with mine ...

I dug one of my planes out of the assortment of shipping boxes it was hiding under. This is the Reichard Mefisto '09 which is a 2m wingspan hotliner/glider hybrid featured in the below noted movie:

I installed a new EzUHF Rx (yes, I know, I could've made 1 other person really happy), slapped in a top secret 16 channel IRC 2.4GHz Vtx, ironed some wrinkles out of the covering, updated the EzOSD to the latest firmware (gotta love our USB connector, upgrading is a breeze) and gave her a full functional test and she's good to go again.

So I plan on flying her again this weekend, if the winds don't pick up, and make an attempt to best my personal record which stands at 22.2km, yes that's right, I'm an aspiring long range pilot still, I usually keep it low and under 10km with my flying.

If the winds are picking up I'm going to dust off my Tonka bodies (yes, got a few) and get some more work done on the Tonka Summit, CaliDave's latest video gave me plenty of inspiration to get started on that again. Below picture is where I left off, so there's quite a bit of work to do still.

So, anybody else got anything planned this weekend?

I will probably drive my FPV buggy around the house as it looks like the forecast for tonight and Saturday are calling for snow. Sunday I am going to try and fly with volto if we can get a break in the weather. We are scoping out a BLM location that might be fun.

Well, the only thing I've got planned for the weekend is sitting inside and watching the wind blow... lol

I did get a new patch in the mail this morning so if anything changes, I'll be besting my own record. Mine is easy though, it currently stands at 3.8 miles. lol

Good to see another Summit coming together!

I will probably run some scale trucks since I can't fly, no FPV with them though, yet.

Yeah nothing awesome really but I plan on painting my EzFly,

I probably should start a build log just to keep things together, still waiting on my 3s batteries to arrive and security cameras 2000 to ship my order it was placed 3 almost 4 days ago and no shipping number or conformation yet. My tx/rx shipped it should be here in a bit.

But I will fly, gonna try to loose my plane in the sky again, my 2s 800mah battery can get my plane up high enough that I can't see it's direction which is awesome for me at least.

This thread is cruel. Like Keith, our weather is going to be windy and maybe snow so we will have to live vicariously for now. May cut a new wing and build some antennas.

Going to take my tricopter to two AMA fields this weekend, one on Saturday, the other Sunday. The old guys are going to have to upgrade their pacemakers afterwards.

The winds here are going to be about 10MPH, and a bone chilling 78F so I'm going to take my fpv slow stick out to the flying field and try and get some hovering shots of some glow planes doing touch and go landings under it....maybe chase around some other slow sticks too. I also got some more props in for the tricopter, so I may try and fpv that for the first time this weekend too.

I'm going to head over to Guntersville, AL with the lady and the rig and some beer --- the rest is up in the air (no pun intended).

I'll get some shots of the town - the lake, maybe head over to the Guntersville State Park. Just a relaxing weekend is the plan.

I'm gonna get back in the air after an 8 month break.

Should be hugely entertaining for all involved.

    Crash compilation coming up!!!!
