UPDATE: New Product Annoucement - DOSD Barometric Altimeter

    Hi all,

I have some good news for DOSD users and those whose OSD/UAV core is I2C savvy.
We are just entering production on a new Barometric Altimeter to be launched on FPV-Japan.com any time soon.

Note: the test rig we used to generate the change in pressure caused a rate of change that was beyond the scales (12km in a few seconds).
Normal real world changes in altitude will be displayed correctly.

This photo shows the preproduction prototype tested in Japan

What's more it will ship from the US to CONUS addresses and international from Japan.
Pricing is still to be finalized but it will be very affordable.
Other new and exciting products are poised to be launched soon and most probably will be available drop shipped within the US and direct from Japan too.

UPDATE: We are now accepting pre-orders for the DOSD-STL-BARO and the DOSD too.
What's more, we will ship from Japan international and US CONUS!!

Limited to 50 units on this first run.

Interest persons may pre order here

Please don't send your PayPal funds to the shop auto-reply mail address.
We have set up a PayPal address specifically to handle CONUS orders as we reach the time of release.
Your place in the cue is safe if you pre-order.

    Questions welcome!

Ok guys, we're working on the price right now.

We hope to be offering the "DOSD-STL-BARO" for somewhere between $20~$22 for the initial batch of 50.

FPV-Japan will handle all the orders however, my partner in the US will be shipping to all CONUS addresses for not much more than the above price. What's more, we plan to ship the DOSD and accessories CONUS to those of you in the US who would like to get the best DOSD and Baro you can get right now without forking out EMS shipping.
(even though it only costs $15~$18 USD from Japan to the US)

For our international customers, we ship EMS so its a good chance to get what you need in one go.

We might consinder first class mail for the Baro but if you are getting a DOSD or any other equipment its cheap in the long run as you avoid risk of loss and unclaimable damage. Packages leave Japan typically within 24 hours by EMS. That's in your country within 48 hours. The rest is upto customs. And you can track them all the way to your door.

With the DOSD nearing production on its latest build, now is a perfect time to pre-order.

    questions and comments welcome
