How many engineers does it take to change a light bulb?
    3. One to hold the light bulb and two to turn the ladder.

    hey sanders.
i lost my plane with all my eagletree stuff and now im looking at the ez stuff as it seems to have more. such as uhf.
only thing i cant seem to find out is weather or not the antenna tracker will trace live to google earth.
i read it is able to be shown later on google earth but can it track live if i take my laptop down to the field.
also if i get the ezosd and the tracker i dont need anything to be able to track(may be a silly question but i saw somwhere it said diversity was required although i dont know why.)
thanks again for this great thread allowing noobs like me to ask dum questions.

    nah not quite.
my friend had never used the et stuff so he didnt read the rth arrow properly and did it by looking for us.
he picked an oval that looked similar but completely wrong direction.
so it was 2.5km out and he said "ohh the video is getting fuzzy"
i had a look and sure enough it was. so i got a new record of 2.5km but i lost the plane because there wasnt enough battery left to come back.
i have searched for where i thought it was. it went down about 1km away and i lost video at 150m altitude. so it could have gone anywhere.
i had my number on it but it went down more than a week ago so im not too hopeful.
well at least i still have my fatsharks.

That's a bugger man, losing the lot is even worse, could be stuck in a tree somewhere and the reason you haven't heard of it.
Don't think you can go wrong with the Immersion gear for your next venture - I have most of it now just waiting on the JR to UHF plug and the OSD to get here.
    Good Luck with it all
    Cheers

    Yea true that.
Well it was in a tree in somebody's yard and they just didn't spot it.
I think I'll get a beeper or something so if it does go down, it will be found fast.
    Thanks again.

I got one several years ago after my friends Hexy glider went down on its first flight (a Kite hawk took it out, found 3 months later) but to date haven't had to use it in reality as yet.
    they have been updated since..
