I'd love for those big mAh EZ* builds to make it over here. To see FPVLAB's Neo360 go 10km was pretty kool to me.I can't imagine how far these guys are getting over there w/ that much battery on-board.

It is a very erroneous theory that the more battery, the greater the autonomy!
All planes have a point of higher efficiency, and the EZ does it at approximately 3300mha 3cell batteries.
If you exceed that number, you get to a vicious cycle where it gets more batteries and larger engines to go faster and carry that weight! conclucion are matched to an airplane can not fly well.

You say 3300 is the prime balance on the E*. This is through a lot of testing? I fly 2200s but have thought about something a little bigger.
haha. looking forward to the vids!
Yes sir! and that's old!!!
With 3000mha, we did 10km (20km total...) TWO years ago!!..
Aah, with a normal Futaba 72Mhz PCM

How in the devil did you get that range out of a PCM rx? My PPM glitches at less than 1.5km, PCM I only felt safe to 1.5km, but no glitches. Any special Tx or Rx mods?
I wish I didnt have such a big investment in 2200 batts. I have about 21g of ballast in my EZ nose I wish was LIPO.
^^ You didn't flood it - I made a new topic
While I agree that the law of diminishing returns comes into play - I'm sure that a 4S 5000mah EZ* could get faster/further than a 3S 3300. 3300 just seems low to me - but then again, I haven't seen an EZ* go too much further than 10km.
I'd love to see some tech on creating a long-range EZ*. 30km round trip is insane. I'm also interested in the tech involved with pushing 35 / 72 that far.
