And AUW is 2.014KG without GoPro HD

Nylon Nuts goes over Stabilisers into Brass Tubes with 3mm thread. Goes 3" into the wing tip.

    Thanks Trappy,

The camera is also a tbs 69 and rc controls are ezuhf, unlike on the photo.
I would go ezOSD but RF pollution is extremely high in Australia + people are extremely concerned with safety of rc planes out of sight. I can't consider any fpv system without rth feature.

In fact I just ordered an RF Explorer to get a better picture of the rf noise for 2.4g and 433mhz. I am also researching about "Aircraft Collision Avoidance" low cost devices that could be practical for FPV uses.

These devices have built in altimeters/sensors/gps etc... overkill for just being part of a FPV ground station. I need a Receiver Only device that will warn me of any aircraft in the area with any potential available information such as altitude and heading.

HAM license is almost in order as well.

Hi M'ck'y, just be careful and don't get a transponder. Pilots will probably freak out if they have something on the radar but can't see it. People are concerned in general, the best is to go with what you think is safest and most reliable. Very nice build in any case, and great video (we posted it on our website!)

I need a receiver only type. I should also obtain some airspace maps soon from my full scale pilot friend. With all the concerns, I am trying to put away this "paranoia" feeling A gas powered military UAV was circling over my house on saturday day time, not so covert, low and loud LOL
