Very nice Ian. Was it just super calm, or does the Goblin handle mountain turbulence way better than other planes?

No, it was not calm. Wind 10-15mph minimum and rough on the east side of every ridge.
It gets bumped around plenty but I've got my Vector settings dialed in good enough to cut the
max amplitude of the bumps down, so that I can mostly eliminate what's remains in post stabilization
with minimal cropping. I think if I used faster servos I might be able to get even better stabilization from Vector.

Hmm, the anti-Goblin trolls are back. 11 dislikes in the last hour. *sigh*
Someone is seriously butthurt about the very existence of the Goblin.

I am going to guess it is same prominent PRC air frame manufactures who made a splash early and are mad they never adapted to where the market was headed.

A few of us might be headed out to Greenland Sunday. Looks like there is a cancerous lump forming on the left Raspberry Butte, fly it while you can!

I have not heard back from Daryl yet but was going to hit it up around 8am to beat the wind. But I am down to do 10am if that works better for people coming down from the north.

I have a feeling that if I clear it out, it'll just fill up again..

I'm considering switching to 2.4GHz for video in the interest of opening up antenna mounting and flying 900mHz quads in the mountains. If anyone is looking for a solid 1.3 setup, pm me. Here's a rough idea of what I have (all 1.3), all functional.
Note: I'd prefer to sell either receiver packaged with the crosshair if possible.

    VTX:
3x 200mW Iftron vtx (power filtered and 4s input capable)
    1x 400mW Bevrc vtx, intl
    2x 800 foxtech vtx
A few extra vtx cables (since the connectors are fragile, they need replacing sometimes).

    RX:
RMRC Tan RX with SAW filter and good internal module, switch on bottom for 1258,1280,1320,1360.
Iftron Clearview XLR (I got this one for testing, and will give you a super good deal on it. Just need to pay for production cost for XLR2.4). Comes with warranty if you take care of it. Has slightly bent SMA so cannot be sold as new.

    Antennas:
2x madmushroom (excellent condition, generally used on RX)
1x right angle clover (good condition)
    1x IBCrazy crosshair

A few Vee antennas, bunch of whips, and homemade clovers.

    Thanks!

900Mhz quads? Don't follow the logic of that at all.
