    Gday All,

Here's my new Z2, put a lot of work/research into this sucker and im super pleased with the final result

    - Z2 with TBS battery box, motor mount and new cam box
    - Added an extra spar and some other strengthening things, Covered in 3mil lam then monocote film on top for colors.
    - Eagle Tree OSD and Guardian all set up with RTH
    - TBS69 cam, 1.3 1W RMRC TX, TBS Core. All vid lines are shielded USB cable.
    - 4S with OS motor, Ice lite 75, 10x6. Have folder once all sorted
    - Ezuhf with a Turnstile buried in the wing and Sanders on top
    - Self made "side feed" Clover half buried in other wingtip (thanx for the tutorials IBcrazy)
    - 2x 4s 30c zippy packs AUW = 2290g

I think I have my head around the guardian/rth but im sure there's more reading to do . No Stabilization when normal flying only to help RTH.
Doubt ill ever use the RTH Id just like it to turn around and head back into range should I ever fly to far.
Ive had this same vid/Ezuhf set up in a skysurfer and went 11.5 km no probs so fingers crossed she'll be a winner.

Thanx again to all the peeps on here for continually posting great info to read up on.... Just about any question is answered with a quick search.

Every once in a while I get to fly my Zephyr - and while I had a gr ay screen on the camera issue for a short time, I got that fixed but kept it within a mile - and still had a RIOT flying it...
Lets see if this motivates anyone....?

You know I should have taken pics before I covered it.

All this gear is accessible through the rear hatch...
    - Logger buried deep on front left, osd deep on right... like trappy does them
    - Alt and rssi sensors on left side
    - esc in middle at rear.
    - Guardian buried in front middle
    - gps also buried off to side
My advice.. cut compartment 10mm deeper before you glue wings together

Vtx, Core and rx out in wings

It takes a lot of nutting out for best gear placement, I pretty much remade and crimped every lead in the set up to custom length and hard soldered where ever possible.

i'll try and get pics but not sure how much you'll see now.

    Chris.

Nice video. It motivated me to get my eyesite checked. I almost missed seeing that tall pine tree on your first low pass of the tree tops that was much higher then the rest. It just blended in with the background until you were right on top of it. Then you go play chicken with it later on in the video. You go some big yarbals there Scott.

Is that a private residence on top of the big hill. Must be nice to own or even visit something like that.

    Guys,
I have a 400mW vtx I'm installing out on the wing of my Zii. It came with a full surround heatsink but it looks like most people take the heatsink off and just leave the laminate off the top of it for cooling when installed on the top of the wing.

    What do you recommend?

    Here's the vtx with heatsink.

    Thanks,

    CD

Great build. I'm curious about these vid cables. Can you give me some details as to what you used and how you did it? Thanks
