    Get noise and vibrations down

    1.Obviously balancing the props
    2. Balancing the motor
    3. mount the motor to the back
    4. make sure the prop is the right way around (the thicker edge towards the front)
    5. try different motors
    6. try different props
    7. make sure nothing is damaged (bent shaft, broken prop, etc.)
I tried tried different motors (Hacker, NTM) and now got a scorpion 1220kv (on 4s) on it, it runs very silent and efficient (cruise on 8A) . The vibrations are almost gone as well. I use a Master Airscrew 11x6 on it. The only downside of this motor it's only good for cruising along (max speed 100km/h)... not powerful enough...
If I would start again I would go for TBS motor kit!

No, the prop is on the right way... it's just not a pusher prop so I had to mount it backwards

After some more youtube vids, it seems like other people have a lot of noise as well.

Does anyone have a video of them flying by without any music over it? I'd love to compare....

...are you talking ZII here??? At sea level? Mine takes 5A for cruise, thats with 2x 4s4000 on a Eflite Power15BL. 2,65Kg AUW. 10x6 Aero cam folder.
It only gets to 115Kph level, but when delivering 35A you can hear it 1,5 Km out

Spackling seems to be very rare here in the UK. Could someone please say which of those below people generally use?

    http://www.dap.com/products.aspx?SubcatID=23

I believe it's the DAP® Fast 'n Final® Lightweight Spackling - but would one of those advertised as being flexiable not be better, or are they too heavy?

Just got back from another flight... this thing is FIXED

The other night in the kitchen it sounded really loud, but today at the field once I threw it, it zoomed off. No more screeching or waking up neighbors kids This is totally fine to fly now.

Just for the record, I switched to a 9x6 APC prop and mounted the motor the other way around (sticking out of the back). In theory, that should shift the CG a bit, but I didn't notice it at all (haven't even checked the cg, just flew it)...

But... every + has its -... my ezosd could not get any satelites... waited for 10+ minutes and still 0... the plane was out in the field, no obstructions... guess I'll be ordering a tbs ezosd soon

Umm.. You never mount a prop backwards! In most cases the writing on the prop faces the front! Is that how you have it? If not, you will get a LOT more noise for less power.
