Yep! But I already have the TLRS, so I thought I might as well use it!

    fair enough.

unless you want stupid mega range i would just use a normal setup in a v config right next to the RX

Yeah cool. I am only looking for about 2km - no more. But the antennas are really long, so I might just have a play and see what I can work out.

    Cheers

put one along the wing and the other vertical, he is only suggesting them being 90* in orientation, for the ground leg i see alot of people using a piece of fuel tubing near the base on the bottom to act as a pivot. with antenna tube supporting the rest of it, if were to have a lrs thats how i would mount mine

Ahaha probably!!! I will tape them along the wing and do some range tests. I know this rig can hit 5k plus. . But not looking for that for this bird.

    Cheers

Another quick question lads... The taper on the elevons... mine have ended up at about half an inch near the prop. I didn't allow for sanding when I cut. DER!!! Anyways... I this going to be an issue?? It looks fine!! I can post some pics later.

As long as you can still attach your horns and there is a little room to spare, you should be ok. Plus, laminating makes them really strong.
