Think about the radiation patterns of the antennas and what happenes to the oberlaying area as you increase the angle

    Hi

two short questions about EzUHF and antennas.
I'm using a Futaba T9CP and I'd like to know if connecting the UHF througt the square connector by-pass the standard HF module?
For sanders style antenna, does some of you tried single-stranded copper wire of 1 square milimeter (used in house electricity for example) ?

    Cheers

The ones I purchased have one solid wire and they work great.

    Hi SSASSEN,

I have the Futaba 10c and the stock EzUHF. for the first time tonight something scary occurred!

With the stock cable attached to the EzUHF module and the square Futaba plug I placed my radio down with the system live and switched on. With the throttle/stick at 0 the throttle burst into life.

Upon investigation if when I placed the radio dowmpn this caused the cable/plug to "short" and induce a signal. This in turn made the TH blip.

Can you send or post the pin out for the EzUHF and Futaba 10 pin out so I can hard wire the module to prevent any unwanted and unsafe signals again!

BTW I am not slating EZ products (or I would to have so many!), this could be the cable or a duff connection on the board for the trainer port.

    I will be investigating.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Thanks shadrakc for your answer! let's try it!
Any idea about the by-pass of normal HF module of RC when UHF Tx is connected?

Lemon, did you make sure that the throttle channel is ''reversed'' in the menu???

Also, make sure you set failsaves properly, factory defaults could be 'full throttle' as Futaba/JR/Graupner have throttle channel reversed!!!

Turnstile for aerodynamics and for a second antenna? I'd prefer nothing sticking out but what I'd prefer and what I can get might be two different things. I forgot that I should post this here instead of email so now I refer to anyone with experience. Looking for max aerodynamic efficency to enable some speed.

Thanks for the input Saucisse. CH3 reversed.

As per my 3rd paragraph "the TH blipped"

It is not on all the time, just if the cable moves/wiggles. I get this on my flight sim also (Phoenix dongle and Futaba square end cable).

SOLUTION: Hot glued the plug and this seems to have irrdicated the issue.

Hi SSASSEN (apologies for the caps lock all the time, predictive text on my iPad),

My 8 Ch diversify Rx F/S are set to 60% TH and RTL function with my FY-21AP. No issues there, just the cable blipping TH if wiggled.

Problem solved for now as per my last post reply?

    Thanks all.
