New ImmersionRC DUO2400 Diversity receiver ???

Been using it since day 1 and I'm totally please with it. My personal record on this one is 13km away LOS which is far more then I need, just wanted to test it when I did it.

So what would be a good Antenna setup w/o Tracking?

i own a 8 db CP PAtch and plan to add a SPW, would you guys ad a linear high db ( 14/18) patch to the mix?

does anyone know which of them works well with airwave tx/rx ?

It says it covers 6 lawmate channels. Is 2510 one of them?

For the switch positions I've given up, they vary with the model, the 1W has different switch positions than the 200mW etc. I use a portable scanner in the 10MHz to 6GHz range to make sure it is set to the right frequency.

Also might want to keep an eye on the fact that >2450MHz is not legal for use in the US, not with a HAM license either.

Channels are the 4 standard airwave:
2414, 2432, 2450, 2468

Plus most of the lawmates:
2410, 2430, 2450, 2470, 2370, 2390

Now... I'm sure that someone noticed that two of the Lawmate channels are missing.
2490, and 2510... these are not supported, nor guaranteed, as was the case with the Duo2400v1.
But... a little different from the v1, there is way that then can be enabled in the 'beep menu'.

Why would we do something so crazy?. Basically these channels are near the outer-limits of the specs of the modules. When building production quantities of the Duo we cannot test them adequately, so as with the v1, they are not enabled by default.

Now... where did I put that beep-menu cheat-sheet?... :-)
