    Are you a HAM?

Just trying to get a feel for how many FPVers are HAM radio operators. Most FPV operations require a Ham radio license (but not all), so I'm trying to get an idea of what percentage have their license.

This poll is anonymous, so nobody will be trying to find you for answering that you have no license. Please be honest. Of course, posting your HAM license is a kind of cool way to connect too, so feel free to post that

Do any of you license holders actually use amateur radio for other than FPV? I hang out on the 10m band from time to time; skip has been really good lately and i've made a few long distance contacts on a mere 100w radio.

Licensed since College days in 1985

Used to take care of a couple of repeaters.

Still do digital modes and show up occasionaly at field day.

KF5MJS - Got it in August. It's so easy, there's no reason not to get legit.

Here's the link to the RCG site on how to pass the test:

Ironically I was eating a ham sandwich when I filled out the poll.
