Troubles with camera to vtx wiring

I have a sony hd bloggie, it has an av port with coaxial rca cables red yellow white

    I have the readymaderc 1.3ghz 100mW tx

The mini (white plug) connector has four (non-coaxial) cables G W R Y

I believe the outer wiring are terminated correct? Terminated to the ground? I don't know where else the outer wires would go.

So I have the white and yellow outer shield wires attached to the ground it doesn't make sense but I don't know where else they would go.

I have the outer leads to the balancer plug on my 3 cell as my power R & B

I have a wiring diagram but photobucket takes a while

The red rca plug on my camera is not used so I have
From cam: white to white (mini) yellow to yellow (mini) red to nothing
Both outer wiring connected to ground
From tx l: red and black (mini) to battery

Why do I not get an image, and if this wiring is completely wrong please tell me otherwise.

    Thanks in advance

If you could show a picture it would be much easier for us to understand. . . Are the video transmitter and video receiver on the correct channels.

Thats the thing I currently can not because I am not near a computer, I use my android to email the pictres to photobucket

I have found some info that I do not need the coaxial cables? But the av output on my bloggie not a board camera, uses coaxial cables

    Just to clarify

how should I wire these components

An AV output of R Y W all three are coaxial
The vtx has four wires video, sound, power and ground

How does the coaxial part fit the picture?

Are you trying to use the Bloggie as a flight cam?

You're complicating your life. You have a lot of posts that seem to just be confusing yourself. I'm begging you to START SIMPLE. Get a regular 5v or 12v cam from RMRC and just start flying FPV. JUST FLY!! Forget HD - forget missions to fly certain places - forget soaring and all the other stuff. You're just gonna make yourself miserable. Get a simple CCD killer cam from RMRC - wire it up to the vTx, check CG and make sure you have good connections - go fly.

If you want HD, for now just get a 808 #11 onboard cam from eBay and use that. What happens if you have a bad sector on the card in your camera? What happens if the battery dies on your camera? You lose your plane. You are trying way too hard to just be starting out. My suggestion is donot worry about HD for now - just go fly.

Well I am not worried abojt missions or anything like that

why is it so hard to just connect this thing together.

I did buy one it's just not here yet.

And I like to have the abilty to have high resolution live transmitted view.

Your vTx does not transmit in HD. So what's the point? You will not be able to transmit HD. Just wait for your flight cam to come in. You're making this much harder than it needs to be. For now - you just need to get in the air.

I agree that simple is the best way to start. I've flown using the live feed from a Pixio and a GoPro. Some say don't do it, I say don't do it unless you're willing to take the risks, and understand those risks. For the record, the live feed from most of these cameras is a lot lower than that of a high resolution board camera. You will have a MUCH better picture on the ground flying with a nice CCD camera than you will the live feed from any HD camera. Colors are usually not as good, but resolution and light handling will be worlds better. Of course a ground recording will not compare to that of an onboard HD recording, but save that for later.

To address your question though, you will need to get a multimeter and check from the RCA plugs to the wires inside. Ignore the colors, they don't always follow a standard. The outer shield on all three connectors should be connected together and grounded. The center pin on the video plug will go to the video input on your video transmitter. The center pin from the white plug will go to the audio input on the transmitter. The outer shields will be tied together and connected to the same ground as the video transmitter's ground. Power to the video transmitter will use a positive, as well as the same ground as the outer shields on the video and audio plugs. If you have a composite feed coming out of the camera, have it wired properly to the transmitter, the transmitter is working, and the receiver is working and on the same channel, there's no reason you shouldn't have a picture coming out of the receiver.

Question: The transmiter that I have is fixed at Ch2: that is 1280mhz for USA then there is another channel at 8 which is marked on the 'warranty voided if this label is ripped' sticker.

So is it ch2 or 8? I tried all but nothing.
I understand that the feed will not be hd, I just don't find the fact that your screen will be pitch black at certain times because of the terrible iso appealing.

I apologize for not having a picture I can't help it that everything runs on money hence I dont have the android tappatalk app b/c it costs money, its only a few bucks but over at XDA yhey offer a free version which has tge capability of attaching images from your phone.

If I knew when my camera from Canada was comming, I'd gladly hook that up.

I'll see what I can do about the image.

My wireless rx thumb drive for my desktop died so no internet.
