I just received my Trinity - will try it in the weekend.

BTW, is the Fatshark Dominator MIG V5 Head Tracker Module the same as the Trinity?

Um , that would be a big NO.
The Trinity is only a beta test ATM , so that means not up for public sale yet.
Trinity is 3 axis p/t/r and the MIGv5 is an updated version of the original tracker which is normal 2 axis with some extra options in the menu system.
Might have some hardware changes too ,not sure, but it is deffinatly not the new Trinity tracker

p/t/r = pan/tilt/roll mount to go with the 3 axis Trinity headtracker
Release date , not sure .
But Fatshark said a little while ago that the prototyping has been approved so we will have to wait till he is ready.

    ptr = pan tilt roll

yesterday on the fatshark facebook page :

"4th and final prototype of the pan/tilt/roll mechanism. Added cable holders to ensure no cable flex/stress points from repetitive motion (bit rude to lose your camera image in the middle of a flight). Brackets for CCD and PilotHD camera were added. Interchangeable servo spurs for multiple servo compatibility (can add MG servos). Tooling has officially started."

Looks like a compact unit this ptr, but I see a "problem". This one will in many models probably not be able to look "over the edge"/cockpit because it is too short.
It is nice to look over the edge in the cockpit and straight down on the ground.

    Lets start with the
    order page: ouch....
    Shipping fee : ouch
    Delivery time: ?
    Ease of install: ?
    Overall Impression: ?

Going to see about working over one of my P/T units to add the roll unless FS spits out the new one pretty quick... (can always hope)

Update as I get more sure looks promising..

And because "on their facebook page" means little.. here is the link for the FS with the PTR https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fat-S...69817899811978
