I noticed that if I plug the cable that comes with the vupoint from the av out on the vupoint to the av in of my fatsharks I don't see anything. Conversely, if I plug the fatshark cable from the av out in the goggles to the av in in the vupoint, it doesn't get the signal. Has anyone had this problem?
I think the fatshark jack might have a different configuration than the vupoint jack.. even though they are the same size. I've experienced the same problem as you describe.
Now I use my vupoint exclusively in my suitcase groundstation, it records off the AV2 output of my DUO5800 and splits the signal onward to my flight monitor. Meanwhile the AV1 output on my DUO5800 goes directly to my goggles via the original fatshark cable.
Any1 got an idea on where to buy just the power plug-ins? So I don't snip off a nice power cord for the wall?

I have a box of old AC adaptors that has been following me around from house to house throughout my life, for various electronics I may or may not still own or use. Ever since I got into this hobby, said box has proved to be a treasure trove of helpful bullet connectors.
Now I have a box full of castrated ac adaptors. I wonder if there are some good bits in the wall warts that I may harvest 5-10 years from now.
Hah, I do the same thing, cs. The box(es) of tangled up castrated wallwarts is getting out of hand. Maybe I can get scrap value for them or something.
