I haven't decided - but I am leaning towards the iCharger line. Do they come w/ the PS - if not, which PS do you guys recommend?

Get a PC server power supply from here -> http://www.feathermerchantrc.com/ . He has them set to turn ON when power is applied.

The PC power supplies work well. I bought one locally for $20 at Ginstar computer repair (he literally had a PILE of them). I just had to wire it myself which is easy.

I am going to get this one soon. Its 40amp 500w:
    http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc...-142p15826.htm

They also have one thats 40amp 1000w for $100 more.

Keep in mind though that with these PS's you cannot use the multiple ports when you plug in your charger to the 40amp output.

You get either the 40amp output OR you get multiple outputs of lesser amps, but it is recommended not to put loads greater than 40amp on the PS.

I got my iCharger 106b+ and a Meanwell power supply from here - http://www.progressiverc.com/

I just looked through the power supplies, and I know I didn't pay that much for the one I have... I've got a 350W 15V supply that's not listed there anymore. You may want to shop around a bit, but that's the place that was recommended when I asked a while back, and I remember the service was good.

If you can get a PC power supply to work, I'd go that route! I've tried modding two and neither would work very well. They were some old crap free ones that came in cheap cases though, which might have been my problem... lol

If I lived there, I would go this way for sure. Don´t confuse these for the cheap PC supplies.

Found a 42A 12V supply for around $90, over here. shipping from us would probably cost me more than 40 for these things anyway.
might require minor mod to power it on w/o the server.
but then, I need a beefier charger... where does the madness end?

    Those are from servers!!!

I might be able to line up a few of those.

SO the icharger is what is recommended for 4S batteries?

I'm a complete novice at this new style battery.
