    G'day from Tasmania

Just checking in to say Hi! from Tasmania, the island state of Australia and home of the Tasmanian Devil.

Although very new to FPV, I hope to take advantage of the incredible scenery of my home state to do some enjoyable FPV flying, as well as record some video of the wilderness areas here to share with everyone.

Thanks to Team Black Sheep for all your efforts and especially setting up this forum.

Oops, my bad, new and all. *blush*

Anyhoo, thank you for the welcome and thanks Jason!

    Edit: @ brosius85

Thanks! I hope I can do the place some justice. Though I plan to start off slow and easy, till I know what I'm doing. I flew r/c years ago and then got into full scale stuff. So, although I'm not a noob with planes and flying, I am very rusty with r/c, so it may take me a while to produce anything near as good as the TBS videos.

Main thing is, I find the whole FPV thing such fun to get into.

Haha! Nice to see you too! Hope you haven't been washed away in the rain today.

The weather looks pretty grim for the next week or so, so I'm hoping to get my FPV gear in the post and start fitting it to the plane and testing it all out. Plus I have to build my telescopic Rx antenna mast and base station (and maybe some cloverleaf antennas too, if I can get my brain around it).

    All good fun...

The Cloverleaf and the skewplanar are pretty easy once you work how what's in the actual pictures you look at lol

I can't believe how crap the weather is at the moment . . the only up side is the trout fishing season should be good this year with all this rain
