When my top plate arrives I'll test out how unbreakable it is. I have a special talent Sadly it is still in the US .... China can post faster .. American postal service at it's finest. I'm all ready, just need to stick the top plate on, wire in the fpv gear and all is go.

At least when talking to the customs guy I told him about the missing part. he said if that happens I just bring in my receipt and no more tax. So at most it will cost me will be to drive into the city. I am still holding out hope for it to arrive before the weekend. I've lots of marking to do so .... I need to fly or build.

I want to get some good new batteries. looking at those kypom. Reports from a friend tell me they are well worth it.

In my crash video I see it all came down on the side and the right front arm took the entire initial impact. It cracked the top dirty plate, but I glued it together with two broken landing gear pieces and it now flies like nothing happened, so I can barely count it as a real break. To me that is awesome since I learned from zero completely on this quad. Honestly I love this quad more than Jesus times one hundred.

Okay so what are you guys currently using as "spacers" between the flat arms so that you can fit ESC's beneath it? And have these increased any vibrations?

I ask because I love the look of the flat arms, but don't want lose any flight characteristics by adding spacers.

I include some 1/4 spacers with the frame. they are just nylon spacers from McMaster-Carr. they actually help with vibrations and give more room. Frames should be in stock next week.
