I can see the need for something like this being developed. It can also double as a lateral balancer as well. What are you guys using to balance your wings??

Please cut off your fingertips and send them to me. Thanx.

1 can spray paint and 6 or 8 dimes taped in a roll on top of the spray can.
"rough" in with just the spray can. . . then fine tune with the dimes taped to the can like this.
I have also used fishing line hanging from the ceiling. . . use a large sewing needle and poke through at desired CG.
Tie the fishing line to a washer or something to keep it from pulling back through the foam while working. Very accurate

Yep!![]()
I go for a no nonesense approach. All parts were scrap sat around.
I have a piece of mdf drilled with two holes, then a plywood base. Two lengths of spare cabron tube. The carbon tubes cut to exactly the same lengths, the ply is used under the mdf to ensure both sink in the holes to the same height. Two plastic screw covers glued to the carbon edges at the top.Thats it !
Two pieces of masking tape down each side of the wing marked with cg points, one down the middle with a linefrom front dead center to rear dead center. Simply turn stand 90 degrees to do lateral cg
