Man, that backyard landing is a lot tighter than it looked like it would be from the pictures! lol If you had more room to bleed off some airspeed it would be easier, but with the powerlines and all that, it's kinda of a dive for the finish... haha Good job on that!
Sentry, you're gonna knock a fingernail off with that prop I'm telling you!![]()

My first real risky fpv flight with the Axn. There wasn't much room to land......check it out.

Not FPV, but here's my tricopter with it's new flight controller, the CopterControl board from Open Pilot. I love this new board! It flys better now than it ever has, and it's only the first outdoor flight after tuning some of the PIDs for stabilization. I can't wait to get it tweaked just right and get the FPV gear back on now.

Hey Keith, Do you find the CopterControl board from Open Pilot better then the kk board's?
I can't say as the only other way I've flown one is with gyros and a Flymentor 3D. I can say that I'm very happy with the CC board though.![]()

It *can't*. The laminate prevents this from happening. It's like a gecko climbing on a window -. Once it gets light in my hand -- I tilt even further back (further reducing the chance that it will slide "uphill". I also ramp up the power smoothly. I use more power and less "throwing" than less power and more "throwing". To throw it harder means I have to follow through a bit more and may get an "ouchie". LOL. I have now launched it like this 2.6 times - so I'm definitely a pro feshional.
