Wow, this sure seems to happen to a lot of folks (myself included). Could it be that we're all that dumb or maybe that there is something lacking in the documentation or package labeling (like the lack ofthe words "in" or "out").

Alright, I've had enough, pictured below is the actual transmitter and its label. Even if you have not bothered to read the back of the packaging it is crystal clear which is an output and which is an input:

    GND - BATT : 2-pin Molex connector > Supply voltage, 2S-6S
    5V OUT : 5-pin Molex connector > 5V output for camera

My wife is always trying to get rid of me. today she told me to put the garbage out. I said to her I already did. She told me to go and keep an eye on it!

Yesterday, I had a total brain fart, and wired up my deans connector backwards.
It is labelled, and I have done it 100's of times before.
I just didn't double check my soldering.
Didn't matter how it was labelled.
    I was just lazy.
It will now never happen again.
I won't be blaming the deans connector.

I pluged 12v up to the 5v and looks like i have burned the IC.

Can someone pelase tell me what the number on IC1 is so i can replace. One stupid mistake .....

    Cheers

    This is really fustrating.

My gen1 fatsharks failed and i had to return
2 months i got a credit and bought the dominators

My fatshark dominators failed as the left eye piece had no picture and i had to return them
    After 4 months i got a replacement

    Then this

At least the last one is my fault. Eventaually i might get to fly FPV.

    Edit ****
Furhter investigation reveals that this is the chip HMC406MS8G
