Tim, is it possible to order a crash set of the 10/25mm standoffs?

The only thing that was still backordered in my HK orders was the 25A Plush ESC which finally arrived a few hours ago, hope they will ship the order soon. On their website the ESC are backordered again!
I don't get it. There are many items that people buy very frequently and the hobbyking order 5-10 items so there are BK again. Why they don't have in stock like 1000 turnigy plus 18A so we can take?
I belive HK is getting alot of them in stock but the demand is very high, I was amazed to see that in just a few days HK received 30k orders.if only a few hundred orders included 3 - 6 ESC's you already have more than 1000 ESC' ordered in a very short period of time.
I'm very new to HobbyKing and don't know if those products ware always backordered, like the Turnigy 9x radio is , or is a temporary problem because of the 2 weeks hollyday vacation that ended in february.
A few build manual comments:
Regarding attaching the rear arm to the frame, the manual says "The back arm is secured to the frame plates with the same technique as the motor mounts are to the front arms using 4 nylon screws and nuts." I was looking for more 20mm nylon screws, but of course I had used them all on the motor-mount end of the booms. The reference pictures appear to show nylon screws. I looked at two other build logs and the pictures appeared to show nylon screws, so I tried the 30mm nylon screws in my kit. Those were clearly too long. Only when I went back up to the parts list to triple-check that I hadn't mis-counted did I see the note by the steel M3 20mm screws that *those* were the ones to be used to mount the rear boom to the frame. A clarification at the point in the instructions where the rear arm is attached might save some confusion for someone in the future. This clarification would suffice; I don't think you have to make new reference pictures if you just note that earlier versions of the kit used nylon screws and the new kit has steel screws.
[Edit: OK, now that I read the *next paragraph,* I see I was just not re-reading ahead far enough. I had read the whole manual before I started, but I appear to have forgotton that part. Ah, well. My bad. Sorry!]
Regarding notching the booms for the motor mounts, the manual says "You will use the two notches that are closer to each other." Now, the two notches that are closer to each other are less than 1cm apart, and they are obviously not the pair to use if you have looked at the motor mounts at all... but I wonder if anyone has accidentally notched their booms incorrectly with that pair instead of the notch near the end of the template and the next-closest notch. Maybe some clarification there might help someone in the future as well.
Also regarding notching, the manual says "Next, use the jig on the other side of the front arms to mark where you will add notches." This is a minor nit, but I might say "other end" instead of "other side." I had to double-check a few pictures and do some mental test-fitting to make sure I notched and drilled the correct ends and sides of the booms. Measure twice, cut once and all that. ;-)
These are just minor suggestions to help the next builder. Overall, I am very happy with the kit quality so far; it's quite nice! Still plugging along. :-)
Cheers,
AerialMike
