a few people are running 4s with the dt750's so I think I'm safe I'll double check though.

Their max voltage rating is 11.1v

so if i got the motors you are using... do you thin a bigger batt would give better flight times?
I went from a 3s to a 4s and from 2200mah to 3300mah and almost doubled my flight time from 10 to 18-20 minutes. With a 4000mah 4s with good, efficient motors that provide enough thrust to carry the extra lipo load, you should get even more flight time, yes. And I think the NX-4008 are good motors that should accomplish this. I'll soon be retailing these motors as well.
great...they are out of stock now![]()
do you know what the differences from the nX-4005 motors over the nx-4008's
The 4005 is 20grams lighter than the 4008 and rated at 50w less power. The 4005 is closer in weight/power handling to the 2213 motors. Though the 4005 is a much lower kv, so you might need a slightly larger prop (11"?) to get the same power out of them that the 2213's were producing. Or run it on 4s and stick with a 10" prop and you would probably have a nice 4s setup, but with not much (if any) extra lifting power over what the 2213's offered.
The 4008 being rated for more power should also nicely lift a heavier payload. Tim is taking advantage of that by using larger batteries and getting much longer flight times as a result.
Will it be possible to order a kit with a different colour cover than orange, or will we have to buy the other colours seperately? Wondering if I should order now or just wait a few weeks when the other colours are available.
I recently caught the multicopter bug, but have no experience with rc anything. I decided to blog about what I am learning. I recently purchased the Delrin kit and wrote this review on my new blog:
