I got mine through HK:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...y_Buzzer_.html
It is pretty loud and can be heard from a fair distance.
Ouch !! you just missed the grass; QAV500 is a promising bird; are you considering wooden booms ? I am bankrupt from the Gaui 330xs's carbon fiber everything; and now I have to contemplate aluminum ! sounds expensive in repairs; I have learned multicopter crashes are a given...as it just happened to the best of us.
Hey Ant still at Kuramine beach. Can't fly as I have 4 FCs. & none work.
Hopefully will receive the KK2s by Wednesday & be up again.
No worries, if you've got your usb/asp programmer with you I can get some of these working, mine will probably arrive tomorrow anyway.
I got a new KK from Tim but I think it's got the wrong FW on it.
Can't help you out there. I didn't bring mine with me. Kinda hard trying to work out what to pack and what to leave at home. I have spare booms and spare props....
Rebuilt my Tri from 30 foot wild flip drop: crash damage = 60 cents ! Thanx Tim, this Delrin material held up rather well. My last multi copter crash was Gaui 330XS and cost me $600 in damage; we are talking about 1000 fold; nothing to laugh at, but certainly something to smile about...this time the wife had nothing to say.

While waiting for some new FCs to arrive (or my programmer) I was reading about the FeiYu line of stabilisers/controllers and frankly they sound impressive. I'm surprised I've not seen anyone mention them here, surely someone's tried them on a Tri?
