If you don't want to pay for Visio, you could install Open Office and use the "Draw" program. It's the Open Source version of Visio.

Does anyone have a wiring schem for LM 500 2.4 vtx with a kx131 5v cam? No OSD. 3S batt with balance plug. Single battery setup.

Simple, let me drar it fer ye

Here is how I do it. The color codes are standardized, so they match up to each other. You will need to cut the big end of the LM harness.
    Yello is video signal
    White is audio (mono)
    Red is +
    Black is -

Do I ground the audio signal since I won't use a mic? Or just terminate/cover that lead?

Just cover it up. I wouldnt gound it. If you are 100% sure you will never use it you can snip the wire at the harness. BTW, glue the connector if you can into the LM. It is so small, it will break easily. Dont use hotglue either (vtx can get hot) silicone or epoxy is probably best.

Thanx - I'll leave enough on the audio channel for future modifications... in fact, I'll go ahead and hit up one of FPVLAB sponsors for a tiny mic.

Radio shack has them for $3 or so, but you gotta solder a connector on them (and a resistor, but i have one for you)

Otherwise, timy mic works well, I like having a mic. Just adds juicy goodness.

Here is my harness, just as i drew above except no LC, just the 'L' part (ferrite ring)
