    Mark,

I can never thank you enough for making me do this. I am running the EZUHF right now... and there is nothing better than running 3 thin wires from the RX to the center of the wing.. ( 2 more when I connect the RSSI ). Loving the board... and not because I designed it.

I would think a simple breakout board that decoded the PPM sum and provided a bec input and servo outputs would be a good solution. Most airframes are designed to have the servo leads all come together at a central point inside the fuselage, with all the stuff we end up putting in a plane that point is rarely an ideal place for the RC RX. A ppm decoder would allow us to place a break out board at that central location and then just run 1 (as opposed to 4-8) servo lead to a remote locale for the RX.

I am hoping that one of the LRS manufactures will come out with one or perhaps one of you electronics gurus helps us out.

    Roberto

You are the one who deserves all of the thanks. I have given up on my EzUHF because there is just to much interference on the 433mhz band where I live. I have to go about 60 miles away before it becomes usable so I have gone back to 72mhz. I am still using your board though, just yesterday I modded a Corona synth receiver for PPM out and placed it out on the wing of my new ZII and just ran one servo cable to the main bay.

I don't know if Roberto is still making or selling these but if he is get one from him you will not be disappointed. If he is not, Foxtech is selling this now http://www.foxtechfpv.com/rmilec-ppm...ter-p-403.html

I believe that user "fpvkiwi" also has a product called the "Channel Wizard" that may be able to do the same thing. You can find the details here: https://bitbucket.org/fpvkiwi/channel-wizard/wiki/Home
Far better is it to dare mighty things, even though checkered by failure; than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Hello. Yes Channel Wizard can do this (among other things). The device is quite mature now. There's a thread of rcgroups FPV forum. Maybe I should start one here as well.

Hi, I would like to introduce my invention, Galvanically isolated PPM decoder. I wrote whole article for diydrones.com since it's based on Ardupilot. No fancy features yet, but working
