Whats up all! Been hanging out here for some time just reading up and I must say this place has a great vibe. Felt it was time to introduce myself and join a community of great guys!

Anyhow my name's Carlos, I do music production/engineering. I used to be into RC cars back when my dad got me into it and we did some pretty hard core racing (the good old days). I always wanted to fly but it was just too expensive back then.

Anyhow jump to 2011, and I realized I could fly now and afford it. Started with helis and haven't looked back. Then FPV just captivated me. This month I started flying planes and have had the time of my life. Last weekend I had my first FPV flight (short range) and was on could 9!!! Loved it!!

My new plane I'm almost done with should be awesome with lots more range.

Anyhow I'm glad I found this site as the members seem to be genuine people, the kind I like to be around

Big hi also from south Florida! It's a real rush, isn't it? I don't know what your setups are, but one thing I can highly recommend is a good long range radio control system like the Thomas LRS or the DragonLink. You can get low and fast and still go long range and believe me, skimming the ground at 50+ mph is a BLAST. Myself, I'll be doing my first DragonLink flights with my tri today after work, weather permitting. I'm hoping that she'll have no problems even setting down at 1000'+ away and taking back off again. Should be ok, DragonLink is a phenomenon.

Hey guys what's up. Nightrunner I have a CL 433 system. I also have a 2.4ghz 1W TX but from what I've been reading on here it might be overkill. Only plus is that I have access to it without purchasing it (which is a big help).

Also I saw that FPV meet and was wanting to attend I just didn't know If newbs would be welcome!!! lol. I was just gonna go watch and meet some ppl.

Also Airbagit, I've been watching your videos for quite some time, you were kind of an inspiration when I saw how close you lived and had so many cool FPV vehicles. I have never really had any flying buddies so I think August 6-7 is going to be exciting for me!!!

Hey Sentry what kind of music do you work on? What equipment do you use to produce? Just curious!! I love music!!! Anyhow thanks for the warm welcomes and I look forward to meeting/learning lots from you guys here!!!
