you have reached the PM limit, congratulations =D I can't reply though =)
Sorry Dude they have no listing for the Specter
Alex, Is your Specter available and if so where?
Is the archimedean spiral antenna in the same ball park?
Hey IBCrazy, I was just wondering, can a dipole be made directional without tuning it to a specific channel or frequency, and have performance like that of the turnstile antenna? Perhaps a cassegrain system can use the turnstile with a parasitic reflector? Thanks
Hello IbCrazy .. I have now read about 2 million pages and posts. Although it is very interesting reading, I have to ask the king for advice. I would like to make antennas for my setup myself, but are unsure what to choose. Can you make a suggestion. I have three frequencies I use. 433 - 2.4 - 5.8. I'm not trying to set any records, so 2-3 km stable connection would be perfect. It is a Quadcopter, so no steep tilts. What do I need on the quadcopteren, and what about the ground station. I am little worried about choosing something, where it will interfere with each other. Rj..Keep up the good :-)
Hello IBCrazy... I know is going to be a really repetitive question, but, i dont have anything to loose... I already own an Spironetīs Pair of Antenna, but i have been listening a lot of Skew Planar and different kind of circular polarized antennas that make me think about them.... Ive been trying to find on the forum which is the best combination for 5.8 range for my Fatshark googles (Dominator with 5.8 receiver) and my ImmersionRC 600mW transmitter, but havent found a direct response on which will be my best solution.. even if i gonna get any improvment... so.. in short words.... any recomendation? just wanna get like 2 or 3 (km), or the better i can get if thats not possible with the restriction ive wrote... So.. if you take you time to answer me im very grateful... even if you not. So Thanks again, and greets from Cartagena, Colombia! (very few people doing this here, so im alone testing) God Bless you
IBCrazy, Do you know how to setup a futaba 9c for EZuhf? I'm having trouble with how to program the trainer mode on the tx and my tx isn't communicating with my EZ tx. Thanks JCD
The BiQuad is a good transmit antenna for your LRS if you do not mind the size. As for the sphere, it is 3% shorter than 1 wavelength per lobe. Pretty straight forward to build.
Hi Alex I,m really keen to try out the pentalobe sheere. Could you send me some info so I could have a go. Also with the Bi-quad how well does it work as a 433 Mhz transmitting antenna and when its on my tracker and the tracker is pointing horizontal should the bi-quad still have a 20Deg up elevation. I plan to use an extention cable from my 433 transmitter to the Bi-quad and I herd that the length off that cable between the two sholud be devisable by an equal number off full wave lengths, is that so? I hope I explained what I ment.
