Dave, I got called to be in Texas Monday at 7....now scrabbling to help the wife get prepared to have me gone for a long while, looks like I wont be able to get down there which really stinks. When I get back lets try to get together for lunch sometime. I will have my laptop...if you scan the pic please E-mail it to me, I would love to see it.
Yep...Still going saturday and bringing my son and the new wing I scratch built....may have a Eagle tree OSD pro in it before I go. Will be great to see you there....
Ty, I'm planning to attend, yes! May not have much to fly that will impress anybody but I wanted to meet people from online, see the different FPV setups, etc. I've got to be downtown Friday for a big show & tell. Don't know if Saturday or Sunday would be easier. You going to be there? Cheers, Dave p.s. I've got that old "Dynamite Hill" R/C photo on my desk today and hope to be able to scan it and send it to you.
Dave, Any chance you will make the Pecan patch event, I'll be there Saturday. Ty
Ty, Thanks for the email. I'm not actually in the a/c manufacture business; my job has me working on all sorts of things, my favorite of which is flying UAS for research. You aren't over at the bomber plant are you? If so, I'm on the other side of the fence from you. You ever escape for lunch... Monterey's on Atlanta Rd? Dave
Dave I stumbled upon one of your post and saw your profile, why do I have the feeling we share work stories? Are you in the aviation business? Ty Dallas
BTW - I've driven by that meadow on Dallas highway a lot. I could overfly it easily with the Dragon link and setup down the road somewhere. But that communications tower across the road from it has me worried. I've never seen anyone flying RC there though like you have... I'll investigate it on Google Earth today and see if there's a neighborhood on the other side of the trees that we can't see.
